Sioux Falls Canaries News Release
SIOUX FALLS, SD (May 28, 2008) - The Sioux Falls Canaries announced today that the Free Led Zeppelin 40th Anniversary Tribute Show, featuring Zed-Leppelin, slated for Friday, June 6th has been postponed.
While no official reschedule date has been set, the Canaries are planning for a big event to mark the return of Zed-Leppelin. "Our goal is to have a big one-day tribute band blowout, a Tributestock if you will, and we thought that with the way the weather has been, we might be better served bumping the Zed-Lep boys to our big fall event," said Canaries President John Kuhn.
Zed-Leppelin is the nation's premier tribute to Led Zeppelin. The group of Minnesota natives shares a commitment to recreating the Led Zeppelin concert experience. Zed-Leppelin's set list includes classics like Stairway to Heaven, Good Times Bad Times, Dazed and Confused, and virtually every well-known Zeppelin tune; and some of the rare gems like "Hey, Hey, What Can I Say?"
"We are disappointed that we won't be doing the June 6th show, but in the interest of making a bigger and better event, we are already working on the lineup for the Tributestock show and we know that it will be well worth the wait," said Kuhn.
