Grand Prairie, TX (05.28.08) - Scot Drucker pitched a one hitter in the second game of a doubleheader for Grand Prairie on Wednesday afternoon, to help the Airhogs split the twin bill, 3-1 in the second game, after losing the first 2-1
In game one, Pensacola got on the board in the top of the third inning for the 2-0 lead. With runners on second, and third Grand Prairie played the infield in. Rafael Alvarez looped a soft line drive over the head of Paul Bartolucci at short to bring in the first two runs.
Grand Prairie mounted a rally in the bottom of the seventh inning. David Espinosa led off with a single and later stole second. After two strikeouts, Edwin Maldonado came up to the plate to face closer Dustin Cameron. Maldonado lined a base hit into shallow right center to bring in Espinosa for the first run. Brandon Carter followed with a single through the left side of the infield to move runners to first and second. However, Bartolucci ended the game on a ground out to the short stop.
