OKLAHOMA CITY-Kevin Mulvey set a new season high with nine strikeouts over six shutout innings, but three late RedHawks runs would lead Oklahoma City to a 3-1 win over Reno Wednesday night at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark.

Mulvey, who took a hard-luck no-decision, kept Oklahoma City off the board while Reno scratched across a run in the third on a Cole Gillespie RBI groundout. The Aces' 1-0 lead would last until the eighth inning, when the RedHawks scored three runs on an RBI-single, a run-scoring wild pitch and a run-scoring passed ball. Oklahoma City would hold on in the ninth to hand Reno its second loss in as many nights.

Rafael Rodriguez (5-4) suffered the loss for the Aces, as he was responsible for all three eighth-inning runs-two earned-in one inning of relief.

Rich Harden, on a Major League rehab assignment, took a no-decision after striking out 10 and allowing just one unearned run in six innings of work. Warner Madrigal (4-2) picked up the win in relief of Harden, retiring all nine hitters he faced.

Reno was held to just three singles in the game, all against Harden. Doug Deeds, Jeff Bailey and Carlos Corporan recorded singles in a game that saw Aces hitters strike out 15 times.

Reno and Oklahoma City square off again Thursday, with Aces RHP Matt Torra (9-6, 4.14 ERA) set to face RedHawks RHP Guillermo Moscoso (7-5, 5.26 ERA). First pitch is set for 5:05 p.m. PT from AT&T Bricktown Ballpark, and all the action can be heard live in Reno on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM, or online at RenoAces.com.

The Aces return home for a four-game set against Tacoma, beginning Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for all Aces games start at just $7, and are available by calling the Reno Aces box office at (775) 334-7000 or by visiting RenoAces.com. The brand-new Freight House District, located just outside Aces Ballpark, is open seven days a week, on both game days and non-game days.
