MEMPHIS, TN - Memphis hammered Salt Lake 13-3 Wednesday night at AutoZone Park to even the series at one game apiece.

The Redbirds belted out 13 hits, including seven for extra-bases, to rack up their highest run total since late June. Amaury Cazana led the onslaught, driving in a Redbirds season-high six runs. The 'Birds left fielder went 3-for-4 with a double and three-run homer. Ruben Gotay knocked in four runs going 3-for-5 with a three-run home run. Daniel Descalso equaled a Memphis season-best with four runs scored. Paul McAnulty led the Bees with two hits.

Memphis starter P.J. Walters earned the win tossing seven solid innings. The right-hander fanned seven and gave up two runs on five hits for his seventh win of the year. Salt Lake starter Matt Palmer took the loss allowing seven runs, six earned, on five hits and three walks in 4.1 innings of work.

The Redbirds and Bees play tomorrow night with first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m. Brandon Dickson will toe the rubber for the home team against Salt Lake's Ryan Vogelsong.
