The Somerset Patriots were defeated by the Hartford Yard Goats by a final score of 5-4 on Wednesday night at Dunkin' Park in Hartford, Connecticut.

RHP Gray Fenter (5.2 IP, 1 ER, 4 H, 3 BB, 8 K, 1 HR) struck out a season-high eight batters in his longest start of the season.

CF Jeisson Rosario (2-for-4, RBI, 2 R, HR, 2 K) smashed his seventh home run of the season to lead off the fifth inning.

C Mickey Gasper (3-for-4, 2 R) extended his hit streak to four games with his first three-hit game of the season.

The three hits for Gasper matched a career-best mark for the ninth time in his career.
