BILOXI, MS - Biloxi Shuckers (1-1) All-Star first baseman Patrick Leonard hit an eighth-inning three-run home run to give the Shuckers a 4-2 win over the Mississippi Braves (1-1) on Friday night at MGM Park.

Graham struck out Hinojosa for the first out, but Aviles swiped third base, placing the tying run 90 feet from home. Graham walked Michael O'Neil and then surrendered the three-run homer to Leonard giving Biloxi a 4-2 lead.

The M-Braves placed two runners on base in the ninth inning but stranded them on base against Biloxi reliever Devin Williams (S, 1). The Braves stranded seven on base Friday night and went 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position. Cristian Pache was 2-for-4, extending his season-long hitting streak to 11 games and Neslony was 3-for-4, pushing his hitting streak to five games. Mississippi out-hit Biloxi 10-4 in the loss.
