FLORENCE, Ky - A two-out, two-RBI double from Harrison DiNicola gave the Florence Y'alls their second last at-bat win in a row over the Southern Illinois Miners Sunday evening to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Intensity picked up immediately to start the inning as Luis Pintor was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning. Pintor later stole second, followed by two strikeouts. Jose Brizuela then walked to bring up DiNicola.

The Florence second baseman blooped a full-count pitch between the Southern Illinois defenders, putting the Y'alls ahead for good.

Florence got the scoring started in the bottom of the fifth. Jackson Pritchard led off the inning with a single, was promptly bunted over by Mitch Piatnik and singled in by Will Baker.

In the top of the sixth, with Y'alls starter Jonaiker Villalobos cruising, the Miners scored three to take a 3-1 lead. Each run was scored with two outs, with two coming in on a Luke Mangieri homerun.

Florence fought back with one of its own in the bottom half of the sixth to pull within one. Chad Sedio led off the inning with a double. With two outs, DiNicola walked and stole second. On the throw down to second base to attempt to throw out DiNicola, Sedio scored from third.

Joe Dougherty came in for the save in the ninth and proceeded to strikeout two to earn the save. Sean Hughes earned the win in relief with Southern Illinois' Mitchell Walters getting the loss.
