
Last Major St. Lucie Mets Home Stand Starts Thursday

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets will host their last major home stand of the 2015 season Thursday through Tuesday at Tradition Field.
The Mets welcome the first place Palm Beach Cardinals to town Thursday-Saturday, then host the Charlotte Stone Crabs Sunday-Tuesday.
Sunday's game begins at 1 p.m. All other games start at 6:30 p.m.
Highlights of the home stand include Teacher Appreciation Night (Thursday), Bark in the Park and Back to School Night (Friday), Paint the Park Pink Night (Saturday) and ALS Awareness Day on Sunday.
Following Sunday's game, the Mets will attempt to break the Florida record for the biggest Ice Bucket Challenge (430 people at Ripley's Believe It or Not in St. Augustine). All fans are encouraged to stick around and participate.
Here is the full list of promotions for the six games:
Thursday
-Teacher Appreciation Night: All PSL teachers get in for free with a valid teacher ID
-Dollar Night: $2 beer, $1 hot dogs, $1 soda, $1 popcorn
Friday
-Faith Night: postgame concert with the Christian rock band Remedy Drive, sponsored by Morningside Church
-Back to School Night: All St. Lucie County students get in free
-Bark in the Park: Dogs allowed in the berm for $2. All proceeds go to the St. Lucie County Humane Society
-Community Night: Pick up free tickets at Florida Blue, Lee Plastic Surgery, Main Street Cabinetry, Sam's Club, Seacoast Bank, Self-Storage Zone, Edward Jones, Storage King USA and Imagine Nau School
-Happy Hour at the Tiki Bar from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
-Klutch's Kids Crew Night
-Klutch's Birthday: Scavenger hunt for kids 13 and under
-Fun Run Around the Bases after the game
Saturday
-Paint the Park Pink for breast cancer awareness: wear pink to the box office and $1 of your ticket will go to Making Strides. Pregame Survivor Walk around the warning track begins at 6:10 p.m.
-Corona Light Special: $15 includes a game ticket and all you can drink Corona Light from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
-Little League Night: All Little Leaguers who wear their jerseys get in for $2
Sunday
-ALS Awareness Day: attempt to set the Florida record for the largest Ice Bucket Challenge after the game
-Brunch: $15 includes a game ticket and access to brunch on the third base party deck. Brunch runs from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
-Family 4 Pack: 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas, 1 family sized popcorn for $24
Monday
-Kids Night: all kids 12-and-under get in for free
Tuesday
-$2 tickets at the box office for followers of @stluciemets on Twitter
-Silver Sluggers Night
-Free Baseball Bingo
