Peoria, Ill. (October 28, 2008) - The Peoria Rivermen and Cub Foods of Mid-Town have teamed up in presenting the "Great Pumpkin Patch." Fans are encouraged to decorate and carve pumpkins for a chance to win fantastic prizes from the Rivermen and Cub Foods.
Deliver your decorated pumpkin to Cub Foods, at 1800 N. Knoxville Road, and if yours is selected among one of the best, you'll receive a prize from the Rivermen and Cub Foods. Prizes include an assortment of autographed Rivermen merchandise, and up to a $50 FREE Cub Foods gift card.
Judges, comprised of Rivermen and Cub Foods representatives, will be at Cub Foods of Mid-Town at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday to pick the winners.
Peoria returns to action on Friday as they welcome the Quad City Flames to town. It's Halloween and fans are encouraged to dress in costume for the game. Any fan in costume will receive two (2) FREE tickets to an upcoming Rivermen home game.
