Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI-With the 2008 Presidential Election approaching quickly, the Milwaukee Admirals have a host of election themed promotions planned for their game this Friday, October 31st at 7:00 pm versus the Grand Rapids Griffins at the Bradley Center.
The first 5,000 fans to the game will receive a fan/mask with presidential candidates Barack Obama on one side and John McCain on the other, courtesy of WisPolitics.com. At a yet-to-be determined point in the game the Admirals take a straw poll of fans by having them show the face of their presidential choice.
In addition, the Admirals will pay homage to the recently ubiquitous election moniker "Joe the Plumber" by offering all fans with the name Joe or Jo and all plumbers tickets for just $3. For someone with the name Joe or Jo to get the discount they just need to show an ID at the box office, while all plumbers receive their discount with a business card or a copy of their plumbing license.
Those fans that are not politically inclined (or even those that are) can win fantastic prizes by donning their best get-up and joining the Admirals Halloween Costume Contest. The Admirals will choose twenty of the most creative costumes and bring them onto the ice in the second intermission where the fans will ultimately decide the winner, who will win a night's stay at the Milwaukee Hilton City Center with four passes to Paradise Landing water park.
Friday's contest is also the final game where fans can place bids on the Admirals game-worn helmets as part of the Hunt for Pink October. In addition to the individual helmets, there is one helmet up for raffle that is autographed by the entire team and the raffle tickets are just $10 and available at the DigiCopy Information Table. All of the proceeds from the helmet auction and raffle will benefit Gilda's Club of Southeastern Wisconsin. For more information on Gilda's Club please visit their table outside section 217 or log on to their website at www.gildasclubsewi.com.
The game is also a Chipotle Fiesta Deck night. Located in section 221, fans in the Chipotle Fiesta Deck receive a game ticket, a Chipotle Burrito Buck, which is good for a free burrito at any Chipotle, and a kazoo for only $16.
To purchase individual tickets for Friday, or any Admirals game, fans can call Ticketmaster at (414) 276-4545 or go online at www.milwaukeeadmirals.com. Group of ten or more people receive a minimum of $2 off the regular price ticket. Fans looking for group tickets can call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
