Las Vegas' Spratt Named Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Rookie Jimmy Spratt of the Las Vegas Wranglers is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 8-14.

The 24 year old posted a record of 4-0-0 with a goals-against average of 2.75 and a save percentage of.923 in four starts to help Las Vegas improve to 30-26-7 and move into second place in the Pacific Division. Spratt recorded at least 30 saves in three of the four games highlighted by a 38-save performance in a 3-2 win at Bakersfield on March 10.

In his first season with the Wranglers, Spratt is 6-1-1 with one shutout, a 2.59 goals-against average and a.928 save percentage in eight starts for the Wranglers. He has also appeared in 12 games this season for the Louisiana IceGators of the Southern Professional Hockey League posting a record of 4-6-0 with a goals-against average of 4.17 and a save percentage of.870.

Before turning professional, the Chesterfield, Mich. native played four seasons for Bowling Green State University from 2005-2009 where he went 27-62-5 with three shutouts, a 3.44 goals-against average and a.882 save percentage in 100 games. Spratt also spent three seasons with the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League going 49-23-10 with five shutouts, a 2.71 goals-against average and a.911 save percentage in 94 games.
