Las Vegas' Schwarz Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has fined Las Vegas defenseman John Schwarz an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL game #298 against Idaho on Dec. 29.
Schwarz was assessed a minor penalty for roughing, a major penalty for crosschecking and a Game Misconduct for crosschecking at 19:50 of the third period.
He is fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
