Las Vegas Receives NHL Goaltender

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL have assigned goaltender Dany Sabourin to the Wranglers. Las Vegas also announced the team has released goaltender Dave Marlin.

Sabourin spent time this season with the NHL's Calgary Flames playing in four games. The Val d'Or, PQ native was drafted by the Flames in the fourth round (#108 overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. For his career, Sabourin is 43-50-8 with a 3.00 goals against average. His best season as a professional came during the 2002-03 season with the Saint John Flames of the AHL. Sabourin posted 15 wins, a 2.70 goals against average and four shutouts.

The Wranglers continue their run for the Kelly Cup when they return home Friday, February 27th against the San Diego Gulls at 7:05. The game features the top two teams in the Pacific Division. The first 1,500 fans through the gates of the Orleans Arena receive a Wranglers floppy hat.
