Josh Bell took simultaneously took advantage of two new Atlantic League rules on Wednesday evening.

Dominic De Masi (4-2) shut down the Barnstormers for the second time in two weeks. The right-hander allowed four hits and a run in seven innings. He walked one and struck out eight.

Lancaster's bullpen threw 4 2/3 shutout innings on three hits and three strikeouts after taking over in the fifth inning.

The series concludes on Thursday evening. Buddy Baumann (2-7) will make the start for the Barnstormers against right-hander Tyler Herron (2-5). Fans may tune into Blue Ridge 11 or the Barnstormers YouTube Channel, beginning at 6:30.
