Osceola Magic News Release
The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, are proud to announce a new partnership with Mosaic. Mosaic's mission is to help the world grow the food it needs by providing the crop nutrition products that farmers need.
Locally, Mosaic has worked closely with kidsPACK to fulfill that mission. kidsPACK is a local non-profit that provides meals to kids in need in order to decrease the food insecurity that our students at Polk County Public Schools face. This season, the Lakeland Magic have partnered with Mosaic to donate money throughout the season to kidsPACK to support this program.
Mosaic will be donating $75 for every three-pointer that the Lakeland Magic hit during all home games. So far this season, Mosaic has donated $10,575 to the organization.
The partnership tipped off today, as representatives from both Mosaic and kidsPACK were recognized at center court by Lakeland Magic President, Shelly Wilkes. The audience included more than 2,000 students from around Polk County in attendance for the second annual School Day Game.
"It really is about the community wrapping their arms around the children here in Polk County and giving them a better opportunity to be successful" said Lakeland Magic President, Shelly Wilkes. "We're proud to help support Mosaic's mission and the kidsPACK organization."
