BURLINGTON, VT --- The Vermont Lake Monsters presents Military Appreciation Night with support from Revision Military at historic Centennial Field in Burlington on Wednesday, August 17th when the Lake Monsters host the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in New York-Penn League action at 7:05 pm.

The annual event celebrates our local military community by offering free tickets to any active/reserve/retired military with valid ID and their family.  In addition to free admission, fans will enjoy a military-themed evening, complete with special uniforms for the Lake Monster players, military vehicles & mini-jets on display and other fun activities for families.

"Revision is thrilled to continue to support the annual Military Appreciation night, and we encourage everyone from the community to join us for a night of honoring our troops - all of those who are our everyday military heroes." said Jonathan Blanshay, CEO of Revision Military.

"It's an honor for us to once again team up with Revision to present our annual Military Appreciation event," Lake Monsters General Manager Nate Cloutier said. "This event means so much, since we can put together one night dedicated to all of those people and families that risk so much for us and our freedom. With all of the family entertainment and small touches like Stars and Stripes jerseys, it will be a night that cannot be missed."

Revision Military will be providing a pair of Hellfly Ballistic Sunglasses (MSRP $99.99) to the first 500 adults to enter the gates.  This annual giveaway proves to be popular with fans, so line up early to a shot to get a pair!  Gates open at 6:00 pm with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 pm.
