The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) travels to face Houston Dynamo, Saturday, June 10. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. PT at Shell Energy Stadium and will be available Free on Apple TV/ ESPNLA 710 AM/980 AM).
Saturday's contest will be the first of back-to-back matches between the Dynamo and LAFC in the 2023 MLS regular season. The Black & Gold lead the regular season series vs. Houston with a 5-1-4 (W-L-T) record, outscoring the Dynamo 23 goals to 15 goals.
NEWS & NOTES
LAFC enters Saturday's contest with 26 points and a 7-1-5 (W-L-T) record through 13 games played. The Black & Gold are ranked third in the western conference.
Denis Bouanga has scored in each of his last three regular-season away matches, the second player with a three-match road scoring streak this season (Giorgos Giakoumakis, Atlanta United). Only Carlos Vela has scored in more consecutive away matches (four) from April - June in 2019.
LAFC's first and only regular season loss (2-1) to Houston so far, came on Aug. 31, 2022.
