New England Revolution News Release

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution (7-3-6; 27 pts.) will host Inter Miami CF (5-11-0; 15 pts.) on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium for the club's annual Pride Night match. The contest kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and streams on Apple TV in English and Spanish. Chris Wittyngham and Lori Lindsey will call the match in English, with Jose Hernandez and Pablo Marino providing commentary in Spanish. Saturday's match can also be heard on the radio locally on 98.5 The Sports Hub, with Brad Feldman and Charlie Davies calling the action, and on 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA in Portuguese.

The Revolution return to Gillette Stadium for the first of three consecutive home matches in Foxborough, where New England is an unbeaten 4-0-3 this season. New England concluded a two-game road swing over a four-day window with a 0-0 draw against I-95 rival New York City FC to a 0-0 draw last Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. Goalkeeper Djordje Petrović collected his sixth clean sheet of the 2023 campaign, tied for third-most among MLS goalkeepers. Petrović registered five saves in last Saturday's shutout en route to a selection on MLS Team of the Matchday 17. The Serbian international, who owns two MLS Team of the Matchday selections this season, continues to lead MLS in saves (147) while ranking second in shutouts (13) since joining the Revolution in May 2022. Petrović has logged results in 15 of his 17 appearances at Gillette Stadium, carrying an 8-2-7 record and seven shutout performances.

Forward Gustavo Bou made his return action last Saturday after being sidelined for a five-game stretch due to a leg injury. The Argentinian striker, one start away from his 75th in MLS, posted a 15-minute shift off the bench. Veteran striker Jozy Altidore featured in the Starting XI for the first time this season in last weekend's draw, while Cambridge, Mass. native Jack Panayotou, a Homegrown midfielder, tallied his sixth appearance of the season. Midfielder Carles Gil continues to carry the Revolution's attack with three goals and one assist over his last five appearances. Gil, who ranks among MLS leaders in chances created (T3rd- 39), has tallied two goals and three assists, both team-best marks, over five career games played against Miami. The 2021 MLS MVP has found the scoresheet in five of his six appearances at Gillette Stadium this season, two goals and four assists.

Inter Miami CF is winless, 0-5, over its last five matches following the Herons' 2-1 win over New England in the most recent encounter between the two sides on May 13 in Fort Lauderdale. The Herons, currently in last place in the Eastern Conference, have been outscored at a 9-3 clip over their winless run. Forwards Leo Campana and Josef Martinez, the 2018 MLS MVP, are tied for the team lead in goals scored with three tallies each. Miami parted ways with former head coach Phil Neville last week. Javier Morales has been named the club's interim coach following Neville's departure. New England holds a 2-3-0 record in the all-time series against the Herons, including a 1-1-0 mark in Foxborough.

2023 Pride Night

The Revolution will celebrate the club's annual Pride Night on Saturday. The Revolution have partnered with the Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth (BAGLY) to support their Host Homes program during Saturday's edition of the Revolution Drive Series Presented by the Dan O'Brien Automotive Group. At all entrance gates on Saturday, the Revolution will collect household goods such as towels and sheets for Host Homes, an innovative, holistic program designed to address LGBTQ+ youth homelessness in Massachusetts for youth 18-24 years old. Revolution players will wear adidas 'Love Unites' training tops for warm-ups prior to Saturday's match, as part of a league-wide initiative. In addition, members of Gillette's GABLE group will join the club on the field to unfurl the Pride flag on the pitch during pregame ceremonies.
