
LAFC Kicks off Its Annual July 'Month of Giving'

Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) kicked off its annual July Month of Giving focused on bringing the giving sprit to the summer months. Continuing to be a Force for Good, throughout July LAFC will host several volunteer opportunities and encourage fans to give back to the Los Angeles community.
Events include a volunteer day at Banc of California Stadium on July 10 to assemble care packages benefiting Covenant House of California, a non-profit youth homeless shelter that provides sanctuary and support for homeless and trafficked youth, and a bike event on July 31 in partnership with Our Own to distribute bikes to local children in need.
During each July home match (July 17, July 24 & July 28) the Club will be hosting sports equipment donation drives at Banc of California Stadium, where fans donations will be distributed to local community partners.
Throughout the month, LAFC staff are encouraged to donate gently used clothing. All collected items will be donated to the Union Rescue Mission.

WHAT: Bike Event with Our Own - LAFC will join Our Own in their initiative to distribute bikes to children of need in the Los Angeles Area. 400 bikers will complete a 15 mile loop that begins and ends at Banc of California Stadium to distribute the bikes.
Staff Clothing Drive - All Month Long
An internal initiative within the Club, LAFC staff will be donating gently used clothing throughout the month of July. All collected items will be donated to the Union Rescue Mission. Additionally, Nectar, Official Sleep Partner of LAFC, will be donating 30 mattresses to Union Rescue Mission as part of the Month of Giving.
