LAFC Hosts the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, April 20 at Bmo Stadium

Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will host the New York Red Bulls at BMO Stadium tomorrow, Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Saturday's match marks the 4th regular season meeting between the teams since 2018. LAFC leads the series vs. New York Redbulls 2-1-0 (W-L-T) record

HONORARY FALCONER

USC Women's Basketball stars Juju Watkins, India Otto and McKenzie Forbes will serve as honorary falconers for Saturday's match. The women of Troy were crowned 2024 Pac-12 Champions, winning the conference tournament where Forbes who was named as the tournament's most outstanding player. The Trojans made a deep run into the NCAA tournament, reaching the Elite 8 for the first time in 30 years.

USC guard Juju Watkins will take part in the pre-game falcon flight. The Los Angeles native was named Gatorade National Girls Player of the Year, a USA today All-American and was the winner of the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year award for her performance in the 2023-24 season.

GREENER GOALS

On Saturday, LAFC will honor Major League Soccer's 7th annual Greener Goals initiative. As a part of the Greener Goals Week of Service, LAFC partnered with Heal the Bay to host a beach clean-up in Ocean Park in Santa Monica on April 17th. LAFC staff and fans came together to clear more than 59 pounds of trash from the sands of the world-famous beach.

Both events serve as a continuation of the Club's efforts to raise awareness for environmental issues and help create sustainable communities in Los Angeles and beyond.

ADIDAS ONE PLANET PRE-MATCH JERSEY

As part of the Greener Goals theme night at BMO Stadium, LAFC players will be wearing the adidas One Planet pre-match jersey in celebration of Earth Week. Titled "One Planet. One Chance.", and inspired by reforestation and natural ecosystems, the pre-match jerseys are made from recycled materials with LAFC donning the Soil colorway.

The 2024 One Planet pre-match jerseys are available at MLSstore.com and in-stadium at LAFC HQ.

BMO SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

Sustainable small business Manalisco Growers Inc. will be featured on Saturday as the BMO Small Business Spotlight.

LAFC COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

One Tree Planted is being honored as Saturday's Community Spotlight recipient. One Tree Planted's mission is to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. The organization's projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and environmental groups to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. In 2023 alone, One Tree Planted proudly planted 51.9 million trees across 72 countries.

ARRIVE EARLY

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic and crowds at the gate.

Gates at BMO Stadium will open at 6 PM PT.

THE FIELDS LA

Fans are invited to arrive early to enjoy favorites at The Fields LA Food Hall next to BMO Stadium featuring from some of LA's most popular eateries such as Amboy Burgers, TacosWay, Nongshim's Ramyun Cafe and Triple Beam Pizza.

The Fields LA will open on April 6 at 5:30 - 7:30 PM PT.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

To provide a safer environment for fans and expedite entry, BMO Stadium is enforcing a new Clear Bag Only Policy. It is required that fans bring bags that meet the following style and size limits:

One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", OR:

A one-gallon clear plastic storage bag (Ziploc bag or similar).

Non-clear bags including small clutches are NOT allowed. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items.
