
LAFC Falls 4-0 on Road to Houston Dynamo

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) fell to the Houston Dynamo 4-0, suffering just its second loss of the MLS regular season on Saturday night at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.
Dynamo forward Nelson Quiñónes helped the home side to an early lead scoring the lone goal of the first half in the 11th minute. The Dynamo made it 2-0 when Amine Bassi would convert a penalty kick in the 50th minute, and then Corey Baird scored in the 69th minute for a 3-0 advantage. Franco Escobar would score the fourth and final goal of the game for Houston in the 89th minute.
LAFC are now 7-2-5 in the regular season with 26 points, good for third place in the Western Conference, just two points behind Seattle and St. Louis who are tied for first in the conference with 28 points.
The Black & Gold face the Dynamo again on Wednesday, June 14 at BMO Stadium. That game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT and can be seen for free on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, and heard on radio on ESPN LA 710 and 980 La Mera Mera (ESP).
