Long Island Ducks News Release
(Central Islip, N.Y., September 4, 2010) - The Ducks are closing out the summer season on Monday, September 6th with a Labor Day celebration. Long Island will play a rare day/night doubleheader against two different Atlantic League opponents at Suffolk County Sports Park.
The Ducks and Newark Bears will play at noon in a makeup from the postponed August 22nd game. Tickets from the August 22nd game are good for admittance to the matinee and the Suffolk County Sports Park gates will open at 11:00 AM.
In the nightcap, the Ducks will take on the Bridgeport Bluefish at 6:35 p.m., followed by a Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Empire BlueCross BlueShield! Come enjoy Ducks Baseball with your family before the school year begins and do it with a BANG! CLICK HERE to purchase tickets now!
