LOS ANGELES - Resuming their 2023 MLS Regular Season campaign, the LA Galaxy play host to Chicago Fire FC at Dignity Health Sports Park tonight, Saturday, Aug. 26 (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV; LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
Tonight's MLS Regular Season match between the LA Galaxy and Chicago Fire FC marks the 55th all-time meeting across all competitions between the two teams, with LA leading the series 25-20-9. Against Chicago, the Galaxy hold a 22-15-8 record in league play, a 1-3-0 record in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and a 2-2-1 record in the MLS Cup Playoffs. In 22 all-time regular-season matches played at home against the Fire, the Galaxy hold a record of 12-6-4. Notably, in 12 regular-season matches played against Chicago dating back to Sept. 4, 2010, LA holds an unbeaten record of 7-0-5. In the last meeting between the Galaxy and Chicago, the two teams played to a scoreless draw at Soldier Field on April 16, 2022.
