February 5, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Elmira Jackals News Release
ELMIRA, N.Y. - February 5, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that defenseman Kyle Bushee has returned to the club from his loan to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
Bushee, 27, was loaned to the Jackals' affiliate for its weekend trip to St. John's Newfoundland. Bushee did not dress for the B-Sens who went winless on the trip. It was his second call up to the AHL this season after appearing in two games for the Norfolk Admirals during his stay from January 12 to January 18. He has 14 AHL games, and three AHL points (1G, 2A), to his credit in his career.
Bushee is the leading scorer among Jackals defensemen with 20 points (6G, 14A) in 40 games. The Otsego, Michigan native is setting a pace that would see him surpass his career-best in goals (7), assists (24) and points (31) that he set in 2010-11 with the Wheeling Nailers.
He is expected to be available when the Jackals return to the ice against the Reading Royals on Wednesday at First Arena.
Mark your calendars! The Jackals are back on First Arena ice on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 to take on the Reading Royals at 7:05 p.m. The Jackals will be holding a post-game autograph session with select players and hosting Willowcreek Wednesday. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted tickets and preferred seating based on availability.Call 607-734-7825 to book your group outing. Pro-rated season ticket packages are on sale, as well. Season tickets offer the best value for Jackals fans.
