
Komets St. Pierre, Chaulk, Perrault Named All-Stars

Fort Wayne, IN --- The United Hockey League announced the official rosters for the Comcast 2004 UHL All-Star Game today and 3 Komets were selected to represent Fort Wayne on the Western Conference team.
Goaltender Kevin St. Pierre, center Colin Chaulk and defenseman Kelly Perrault will represent the Komets in the UHL's 5th All-Star Classic Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004 in Fort Wayne at 7:35pm.
St. Pierre, 28, currently leads UHL goaltenders with a 2.29 goals-against average. Last season the netminder led the WCHL with 36 wins, 2.14 average and .929 save percentage. He was named the WCHL Goaltender of the Week 8 times and named the WCHL regular season MVP. St. Pierre has already snagged the UHL Goaltender of the Week award once this season was named the UHL Goaltender of the Month for November.
Chaulk, 26, is skating his 2nd season with the defending Colonial Cup Champion Komets. He currently leads the Komets with 31 assists and 41 points. The center was named UHL Best Defensive Forward for 2002-03 while leading the Komets last year with 59 assists and 82 points.
Perrault, 30, is in his 2nd season with the Komets and currently leads UHL defensemen with 11 goals, 6 power play tallies and 20 power play points. Perrault led UHL defensmen last season with 52 assists and set a new Fort Wayne record of assists in a UHL season by a defenseman. He was named to the UHL First All Star Team for 2002-03 and selected UHL 2002-03 Defenseman of the Year.
The official rosters are comprised of 20 players including 18 forwards and 2 goaltenders with each UHL club represented by a minimum of two players. All-Star rosters are available online at www.theuhl.com.
The official starting lineups for each team will be selected by the fans. Fans are encouraged to visit the official website of the UHL at www.theuhl.com to cast their vote. Voting ends Jan. 12, 2004.
