
Two K-Wings Earn Spots for the UHL All-Star Classic

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announces that goaltender Chad Alban and defenseman Guy Dupuis have been selected to participate in the UHL's Comcast All-Star Classic. The game will be played Sunday, January 18th in Fort Wayne, Indiana at 7:35 pm.
Alban has been posting MVP like numbers all season. In 21 appearances, Alban is 13-6-2 with the third best goals against average in the UHL at 2.43. Chad also leads the league with five shutouts, which is two shy of the league record set by Missouri's Brian Regan (99-00) and Fort Wayne's Tom Lawson (02-03).
Dupuis ranks fifth among defenseman in the UHL in scoring with 22 points. Guy is also tied for third among defensemen in goals scored with 7. The veteran defenseman is also second to both Daniel Carriere David Hukalo (+7) on the K-Wings with plus/minus rating of +6.
Voting for the starters for the UHL's Comcast All-Star Classic is currently ongoing at www.uhl.com. Fans are encouraged to vote for their selections on who they feel the starters for the January 18th game should be. All-Start voting started today and will conclude next Monday, January 12th.
The official All-Star rosters will be comprised of 20 players (18 skaters and two goaltenders) with each Member Club represented by a minimum of two players. The following is the official roster for the UHL's Comcast All-Star Classic.
