
Komets Announce Turner Conference Opening Round Schedule

Fort Wayne, IN -- The Komets, in conjunction with the CHL, announced their opening round of the Turner Conference playoffs Sunday night. The first-seed Fort Wayne Komets will face the fourth-seed Rapid City Rush in a 2-3-1-1 series. The best-of-7 series opens at Rapid City with games 1 and 2 Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31. Each game starts at 7:05pm MDT.
The series switches to the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne for games 3, 4 and, if necessary, game 5. Game 3 is slated for Wednesday, April 4 at 7:30pm EDT. Game 4 will be held Thursday, April 5 at 7:30pm EDT. If necessary game 5 will faceoff in Fort Wayne on Easter Sunday, April 8 at 6pm EDT.
If needed, game 6 will be held at Rapid City Tuesday, April 10 at 6:35pm EDT. Game 7, if necessary, will be held in for Fort Wayne Thursday, April 12 at 7:30pm EDT.
