Central Hockey League Announces Suspensions

GLENDALE, AZ (March 26, 2012) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today the following suspensions and disciplinary actions from games played on Saturday, March 24:

Fort Wayne Komets defenseman Brent Henley has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of receiving a kneeing major penalty and a subsequent match penalty in Saturday's game at Dayton. Henley missed the Komets season finale on Sunday and will miss Game's 1 and 2 of the Fort Wayne/Rapid City Opening Round best-of-7 series.

Tulsa Oilers defenseman Sean Erickson has been suspended one (1) game as a consequence of receiving an "˜illegal check to the head' penalty in Saturday's game at Missouri. Erickson missed Tulsa's season finale on Sunday versus the Mavericks.

Dayton Gems forward Brett Lutes was fined an undisclosed amount of money for a cross checking infraction in Saturday's game versus the Komets.

Allen Americans forward Jim McKenzie was fined an undisclosed amount of money for receiving an instigating game misconduct in the final five minutes of Saturday's game versus Texas.
