Wichita Thunder Announce Playoff Schedule

Wichita, KS (March 26th) - The Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League is excited to announce the playoff schedule for their Conference Semifinal round against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. The Thunder is the number one seed in the Berry Conference while the Bees are the four-seed. This is the first-ever meeting between the two franchises in the post-season and Wichita's 12th appearance in the playoffs.
The series will follow a 2-2-1-1-1 format with games one, two, five and seven taking place in the Air Capital at INTRUST Bank Arena.

Game 2 - Sun., Apr. 1 - Rio Grande Valley at Wichita, 5:05 PM
Game 3 - Wed., Apr. 4 - Wichita at Rio Grande Valley, 7:00 PM
Game 4 - Thu., Apr.5 - Wichita at Rio Grande Valley, 7:00 PM

The Thunder has appeared in 93 post-season games and has a record of 45-48 overall. Wichita has made the finals three times, winning two championships in 1993-94 and 1994-95. The Thunder has also reached the Conference Finals on six separate occasions.

Wichita Thunder playoff packages and season tickets for 2012-13 are now on sale. A $50 dollar non-refundable deposit is required for all season tickets.
