Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League announced their postseason roster on Monday, for the 2011-2012 playoffs. Allen opens Round 1 on Friday at home vs Texas.
The Allen Americans will have 19 players on their playoff roster, as well as 2 amateurs and one extra goalie.
"It's a very difficult day," said Americans Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins, "The fact of having to make a tough decision on great people that have contributed to our success and help get us to this point is very difficult. I wish there was a better process."
The Americans playoff roster includes Forwards: Bruce Graham, Colton Yellow Horn, Jarret Lukin, Jason Deitsch, Jim McKenzie, Keith Johnson, Brian McMillin, Ben Wilson, Nick Layton, Mark Nebus and Brett Clouthier. Defenseman include: Scott Langdon, Mike Berube, Tyler Ludwig, Dylan King, Joshua Hepditch and Jake Newton. Goalies on the playoff roster are Marco Cousineau and Rejean Beauchemin. The Americans also have two amateurs on the playoff roster, as well as a third goaltender, Jon Groenheyde.
