Knopp assigned to Dayton; Tessier sent to QMJHL

Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL announced Wednesday forward BEN KNOPP has been assigned to Dayton from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, and forward MICHAEL TESSIER has been sent back to his junior team in Quebec.

Knopp recorded 0 points, 4 penalty minutes and was Even in 5 games with Syracuse. In 7 games with Dayton this season, he recorded 3 goals, 2 assists, 5 points and 19 penalty minutes. Knopp will be available for tonight's game in Wheeling (7:05 PM, 6:55 pre-game show on WONE).

Tessier played 14 games with Dayton this season and recorded 3 goals, 3 assists, 6 points, 8 penalty minutes and was (-10). He will join the Quebec Rampart of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Following tonight's road game in Wheeling, the Bombers return home for a Thanksgiving night showdown against the rival Toledo Storm on Thursday at 7:05 PM.
