INDIANAPOLIS -- Charlotte rallied for four runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to erase a four-run deficit en route to a 6-5 victory over Indianapolis Monday night at Victory Field.

The Knights, who salvage the series finale after dropping the first three games of the set, improve to 18-38 with the win. The Indians, who stay atop the International League's West Division, fall to 35-22 on the season.

Charlotte 3B Greg Norton led off the game-tying top of the sixth with a single through the right side. LF Roosevelt Brown followed with a double to center, which put two runners in scoring position with no outs. Norton then scored the Knights' first run of the frame on CF Brian Anderson's RBI groundout.

Just moments after entering the contest, Indianapolis RHP Chris Enochs (0.1 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO) was for back-to-back homers as 1B Ross Gload smashed a two-run shot to right field and 1B Jorge Toca added a solo blast to left center.

The Knights then took advantage of a Tribe miscue in the top of the seventh to push across what ended up being the winning run. 2B Felix Martinez smoked a double to right field and came plateward on a fielding error by the Indianapolis shortstop.

Indians RHP Jeff Miller, who allowed two hits, one walk and just one unearned run, fell to 0-3 with the loss. RHP Justin Reid (5.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO) took a no-decision.

Charlotte RHP Josh Fields (1.1 IP, 1 H, 1 SO) earned his first victory of the season, improving to 1-2. LHP Josh Stewart (4.0 IP, 10 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 1 SO) took a no-decision.

3B Ty Wigginton, who was optioned to Indianapolis from Pittsburgh earlier in the day, lauched a solo homer to right field in his first Triple-A at-bat of the season.

The Indians added two runs in the bottom of the third when 1B Brad Eldred and DH Jose Leon cracked back-to-back doubles after LF Nate McLouth managed an infield single. Eldred finished the night 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI.

Indianapolis kept things rolling with a two spot in the bottom of the fourth. CF Chris Duffy ripped a triple down the right-field line and came plateward on 2B Cesar Crespo's infield single. Crespo then came around to touch the dish on Leon's single up the middle.

The Indians had their lead-off hitter reach base in the sixth, seventh and eighth frames, but it didn't matter as the Knights' bullpen came up with big outs when they needed them. Indianapolis collected 15 hits in the contest, but ended up stranding 13 base runners.

Indianapolis hits the road for an eight-game road trip, which includes four games at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and four tilts at Rochester. Tuesday's series opener against the Red Barons, which is set for 6 p.m., will be carried by ESPN-950 AM as Howard Kellman and Robert Portnoy have the call. The pre-game show begins at 5:40 p.m.
