BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, beat the Capital City Go-Go 108-105, Saturday evening at Total Mortgage Arena.
DaQuan Jeffries (Two-Way) and Garrison Brooks (affiliate) both finished with double-doubles for Westchester (4-7). Jeffries scored 20 PTS and hauled 10 boards. Brooks ended with 12 PTS and 10 rebounds. James Akinjo (affiliate) paced Westchester with 21 points and dished six assists. Nuni Omot registered 18 points and drained a perfect 4-4 from three-point range. MJ Walker (returning rights) put up 15 points and swished three of his five makes from beyond the arc.
For Capital City (6-5), Vernon Carey Jr. led all on the evening with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Devontae Shuler score 17 points and came away with three steals. Johnny Davis and Davion Mintz both had 14 points.
Westchester and Capital City face off again Monday, December 5 at 7 PM ET at Total Mortgage Arena.
