LAST TIME OUT

On March 7, 2019, Kadeem Allen of the Westchester Knicks (27-18), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, became the second player in franchise history to record a triple-double in a 127-118 win over the Windy City Bulls (27-18) Thursday afternoon at Westchester County Center.

Allen, who is a Two-Way Player, registered 16 points on 54.6-percent shooting, a career-high 12 rebounds and 12 assists. His triple-double performance is just the fourth of its kind in Westchester Knicks history.

Westchester controlled the game from start to finish with its biggest lead standing at 20 points. The Knicks topped the Bulls in the paint outscoring them, 72-50, their second-consecutive game with at least 70 points from close range.

Jameel Warney scored two points shy of his career-high ending with 33 points on 50-percent shooting. He also collected 13 rebounds, two boards shy of his season-best.

Billy Garrett added 22 points while Wiggs contributed 14 points, a season-high seven assists and ten rebounds off the bench.

For the Bulls, JaKarr Sampson added 28 points and Kaiser Gates contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds as a reserve.

LAST MEETING

On February 20, the Westchester Knicks (23-17), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, used a balanced effort to knock off the Maine Red Claws (14-23), 109-91, Wednesday evening at Westchester County Center.

Billy Garrett's 23 points led a class of five Knicks in double-figures, which he attained on 68.8-percent shooting. He also dished six dimes. Two-way Isaiah Hicks, who was transferred prior to tonight's game, scored 20 points and ended with four rebounds, one assist, two steals and raised for a block.

Jameel Warney (18), Zak Irvin (17) and Sekou Wiggs (13) rounded out the Knicks with 10-plus points. Warney's nine rebounds and seven assists led on the night in those respective categories.

For Maine, PJ Dozier finished with 22 points on 52.9-percent shooting and handed out a team-best five assists. Andrew White III and Archie Goodwin both added 17 points apiece. John Bohannon grabbed seven boards.

The game was competitive with the second and third quarters both ending in one-point margins. Hicks and Garrett both scored 11 in the final frame to help the Knicks break open an 18-point lead, the largest all game. After 18 lead changes and five deadlocked scores, the Knicks went ahead with 8:07 remaining for the lone lead change in the window, and never looked back.

STARTING TO CATCH A RHYTHM

Sekou Wiggs' 15 made field goals in the 2/24-3/7 three game span are the most by Wiggs since he hit 16 from 1/11-1/16. Wiggs missed the Wisconsin (3/2) game due to right knee soreness, his first inactive this season. In the most recent three-game span, Wiggs is contributed 12.3 ppg off the bench.

THE GARRETT EFFECT

When Billy Garrett adds 20 or more points in a game, Westchester is 12-3, 8-1 at home and 4-2 on the road.

THE ALLEN EFFECT

When Kadeem Allen registers eight or more assists in a game, Westchester is 11-3, 5-2 at home and 6-1 on the road.

In 13 games excluding Windy City (3/7), he accounts for 37-percent of the team's assists (128-of-346). Of the Knicks currently with the team, Jameel Warney leads the team in scoring with 21.5 ppg but only appeared in six of those contests. Isaiah Hicks participated in 10 of those games scoring 20.4 ppg. The team averages 26.6 apg, and shoots 50.2-percent from the field and 41.8-percent from three. Allen averages 9.8 apg, 13.3 ppg and 5.1 rpg.

GETTING BACK TO WHO BG IS

Billy Garrett scored 20-plus points during a seven-game streak from 2/1-2/22 but missed the benchmark twice (2/24-2/28). Since, he is averaging 22.5 points on 53.3-percent shooting.

GOOD LOOKS

Paul Watson is shooting the ball at a 71.4-percent clip in Westchester's last three games. This marks the best clip by Watson in a three-game span all season. He is averaging 14.7 points and 6.7 rebounds in those three games.

LOOK OUT FOR ZIMM

Stephen Zimmerman's 34 points scored against Wisconsin (3/2) and Windy City (3/7) combined are the most in a two-game by him. He has shot the ball at an 80-percent clip in those two games as well as averaged 11.5 rebounds.

WARNEY TIME

Jameel Warney is averaging 28.0 points per game in his last three games. He is also averaging 9.7 rebounds per game in the span. His current five-game streak of scoring 20-plus points is his only streak of its kind this season.

HICKS THE HELPER

Isaiah Hicks' six assists against Lakeland (2/24) tied his career-high, first written against Rio Grande Valley (2/11).

SEASON LOW

Zak Irvin scored six points against Lakeland (2/24) which is the fewest in 19 games. Before Lakeland, Irvin scored double-figures for eight straight games. Against Lakeland, Irvin played just under 20 minutes before exiting the game early due to a back injury. He still grabbed a game-high 10 boards before his departure.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE WATSON

Paul Watson scored 20 points on 81.8-percent shooting against Greensboro (2/29) and tied a career-high 10 rebounds. His only other 20-point and 10-rebound effort came against Capital City (2/12) when he netted 25 points and collected 10 boards. The only other time Watson grabbed 10 rebounds came last year versus Windy City (3/16/18) which accompanied nine points on 37.5-percent shooting.

Paul Watson scored in double-figures nine times last season with just one 20-point performance. Watson scored a season-high 22 points against Fort Wayne (12/26/17) on 72.7-percent shooting where he also drained four triples on 80-perecnt shooting.

John Jenkins averaged 32.0 points per game in a three-game span that included Fort Wayne (12/13), Grand Rapids (12/15) and Iowa (12/19). Jenkins also averaged 33.0 points in a three-game span from 11/6-11/14 and from 11/10-11/16. The window from 11/10-11/16 is a consecutive three-game streak as Jenkins missed the game on 11/8.
