
Kinkel's hat trick leads Aeros past Ducks

HOUSTON, TX -- Bill Kinkel scored three goals and Josh Harding made 34 saves as the Houston Aeros defeated the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, 4-1, Wednesday at the Toyota Center.
Kirby Law also scored and Raymond Giroux and Mikko Koivu each had two assists for the Aeros, who moved past Cincinnati into sole possession of third place in the West Division with 79 points.
Joffrey Lupul had the lone goal for Cincinnati, which is tied with Grand Rapids for the fourth and final playoff spot in the division. The Ducks and Griffins each have 77 points and 10 games left to play.
Ilya Bryzgalov surrendered three goals on 21 shots in the loss for the Ducks, who complete a two-game road trip Friday in San Antonio.
