Kalamazoo, MIâ The Kalamazoo Kings scored early and bunched their runs as the topped the Evansville Otters 11-0.
The game was marred a few times by rain, including a delay of over an hour in the fourth inning. Evansville trailed 3-0 in the fifth before the Kings scored two to make it 5-0. It would remain that way until the eighth when Kalamazoo exploded for six runs to put the final nail in the sweep.
The Otters send all-star Jeremy Lewis to the mound tomorrow in a showdown with the East Division leading Washington Wild Things.
