ROCKFORD, Ill. â Does your dog love baseball? Bring your dog out to bark the RiverHawks on to victory. Wednesday night Marinelli Field will host the Dog Days Of Summer sponsored by Petco and WREX-13.
Giveaways will be geared towards dogs and include dog treats, toys and other dog goodies. Marinelli Field ushers will be equipped with pooper scoopers and all dogs must be on a leash.
The Rockford RiverHawks will take on the Springfield/Ozark Ducks at 7:05 on Wednesday. Gates open at 6:05. Call (815) 964-BALL for tickets.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 12th season.
