Kings Acquire Matheson Iacopelli

ONTARIO, CA - LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have acquired forward Matheson Iacopelli from the Chicago Blackhawks for forward Spencer Watson, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.

The 24-year-old Iacopelli (born May 15, 1994) is a 6-2, 207-pound native of Woodhaven, Mich. who has appeared in 85 regular-season games over the last three years with Rockford of the American Hockey League, posting 27 points (14-13=27) and 29 penalty minutes. He has also played in nine games this season with the Indy Fuel of the ECHL, where he has posted four goals (4-0=4) and four penalty minutes.
