The Kingfish opened the contest the same way they started their previous three, allowing the first goal of the contest, but were able to battle back and pick up the next two en route to a 4-2 victory against the Jackson Bandits.

Gatean Royer opened the scoring on the power play as he picked up the loose puck in the slot and fired it past Paxton Schafer. Eric Fortier and John McNabb added the assist on the goal.

Bryan Richardson answered as he finished a tic-tac-toe play from Glen Crawford and Jesse Ferguson on the power play to tie the contest at 1-1.

Sam Paquet gave the Kingfish the 2-1 lead early in the second period as he beat Tyrone Garner at the 3:47 mark of the second. Clark Jones dug the puck off the wall and moved it along to Wes Scanzano behind the net who found a wide open Paquet sitting in the slot.

Jackson tied the contest at 2-2 at the 12:20 mark of the third period as Billy Nerwson beat Schafer off a pass from Mike Oliveria and Jeff Bes.

Wes Scanzano answered just 25 seconds later as he pumped a centering pass from Jones back in behind Garner to give the Kingfish the 3-2 lead.

Glenn Crawford added an empty net goal at the 19:15 mart of the contest to ice the contest. Jason Norrie added the assist on the goal

Paxton Schafer improves to 2-1 on the season as he made 27 saves in the win while the Kingfish went 1-7 on the man advantage.
