Idaho Steelheads News Release

(Boise, ID) - Head coach and director of hockey operations Hardy Sauter announced Friday morning that rookie forward Tristan King has been re-assigned to Idaho by its AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars.

The 20-year-old King skated in six games with the Steelheads earlier this season, collecting four points (one goal, three assists). He has also played in 11 games at the American Hockey League level, scoring twice and handing out two assists for Texas. King played his junior hockey in the Western Hockey League - one of the continent's elite major-junior leagues - for the Medicine Hat Tigers and Portland Winterhawks.

King will skate Friday night for the Steelheads when the team takes on the Bakersfield Condors. He will be wearing no. 18.

Idaho (ECHL) is the development affiliate of the Texas Stars (American Hockey League) and Dallas Stars (National Hockey League).

The Steelheads will be back at Qwest Arena on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to face the Bakersfield Condors. A group night with the Steelheads is a great way to celebrate the New Year with family, friends, and co-workers - and you can save money on ticket prices too.
