AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs (6-12) get the win over the G League Ignite (7-10), 116-82, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Friday night.
Tommy Khuse claimed a season high of 25 points, going 10-15 from the field and 3-4 from the three to lead the Spurs. Marcus Zegarowski notched 20 points while Jordan Murphy recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Brandon Randolph chipped in 18 points.
Both teams traded baskets to start the game, but Austin won the first frame by four, 20-16. The momentum continued in the second quarter for the Spurs as they shot 56.8% from the field (21-37) outscoring the Ignite 36-27 to take the lead at the end of the first half (63-47). The Ignite fought back in the second half, cutting the deficit to 15, 68-53, at the beginning of the third, but wouldn't get any closer.
Leonard Miller led the Ignite with a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. London Johnson had 13 points and 5 assists. Cameron Young added 12 points for the Ignite.

Austin is set to face the Birmingham Squadron tomorrow with a 7 p.m. tipoff at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
