
Kernels Make Roster Move

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce that INF Kevin Ramos has been promoted to the Arkansas Travelers of the Texas League. Abe Flores, Director of Player Development for the LA Angels, announced the move on Tuesday.
In 25 games for the Kernels, Ramos hit .164 with five RBI. The Angels have not announced a corresponding transaction and with today's move, the Kernels roster stands at 24 active players, one below the MWL maximum of 25, with one player on the disabled list.
The Kernels begin a six game road trip tonight in Lansing at 6:05 pm. They return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, June 8.
