Kernels Make Roster Move

July 7, 2007 - The Cedar Rapids Kernels, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, announced today that INF Tadd Brewer has been promoted to Rancho Cucamonga of the California League and that INF Marco Albano has been activated from the disabled list.

Brewer played in six games for the Kernels and was batting .333 (6-18) with two doubles, a triple and two RBI. He was assigned to Cedar Rapids on June 25th from Rancho Cucamonga.

Albano was placed on the DL back on June 15 with a fractured left thumb.

The Kernels roster stands at 25 active players with seven currently on the disabled list.
