Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release
Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that infielder Price Kendall has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to Aug. 4.
Kendall broke his right middle finger on Aug. 3 when he was hit by a pitch. In just 36 games, Kendall has been hit by a pitch nine times, which leads the Northern League.
The Goldeyes have 22 players on its active roster, including 12 pitchers and 10 position players.
Winnipeg opens a four-game series tonight with the Gary SouthShore RailCats, who trail the Fish and the Joliet JackHammers by a single game for the final playoff spot in the Northern League. Game time is 7 p.m. Great seats are available by visiting any Ticketmaster location or by calling 780-3333.
