Nashville Kats News Release
NASHVILLE (Mar. 2, 2006) - The Nashville Kats have placed wide receiver/linebacker Cory Fleming on injured reserve, head coach Pat Sperduto announced on Thursday.
Fleming, who suffered a concussion late in Nashville's 47-31 win over Grand Rapids last Saturday night, will miss the next two games. He is expected to return in time for the Kats' home game against Chicago on March 17.
The Kats (4-1) play at Arizona on Saturday night at 8 p.m. CT. A win will guarantee Nashville at least a share of first place in the AFL's Central Division, and would give the team its best six-game start in franchise history.
