Kansas City's Losing Streak Hits Six Games

FARGO, N.D. - Fargo-Moorhead scored in six innings, including a 10-run seventh inning, and handed Kansas City its worst shutout loss in franchise history, 17-0, on Saturday night.

It was the sixth straight loss for the T-Bones and the second time they've been shutout on this current road trip.

Fargo got five home runs, two from Ronnie Bourquin, who ended with four runs scored and three RBIs. The RedHawks put the game out of reach with a 10-run seventh inning that extended its lead to 15-0.

Kansas City had five errors Saturday night and now has eight errors in the first two games of the series. The five errors cost Kansas City 12 unearned runs on Saturday night.

The worst shutout loss before Saturday was a 16-0 loss to St. Paul on June 4, 2004. The widest margin of defeat remains 18 runs in a 22-4 loss to Fargo-Moorhead on Sept. 4, 2010.

Kansas City (15-27) looks to break its current six-game losing skid and salvage the finale of the road trip on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. against Fargo-Moorhead (25-17).
