
Kamloops trips up Kelowna

The Kamloops Blazers defeated the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 on Friday night as the two WHL rivals opened up a weekend home-and-home series in Kamloops.
Kelowna outshot the Blazers 55-24 but couldn't solve Kamloops' netminder Connor Ingram, who turned in a first star performance in the win.
Tomas Soustal and Justin Kirkland scored for the Rockets, who fell behind 3-1 before staging a third period rally, outshooting the Blazers 20-6 in the period but falling short of tying the game.
The loss dropped the Rockets record to 44-17-3-0 on the season.
The Rockets and Blazers are back in action on Saturday in Kelowna when they hit the ice at Prospera Place.
