
Kahnle Promoted to Chicago

RHP Tommy Kahnle, 26, went 0-0 with one save and a 3.00 ERA in seven games with the Knights this season. Kahnle will take the Chicago roster spot of RHP Daniel Webb, who was placed on Chicago's disabled list today. The Latham, NY native becomes the seventh player promoted to Chicago this season from Charlotte. The first player promoted was RHP Erik Johnson, who was recalled on April 19. Since then, catcher Kevan Smith (April 24), RHP Miguel Gonzalez (April 25), catcher Hector Sanchez (April 26), RHP Daniel Webb (April 27), and infielder Carlos Sanchez (April 28) have all gone to the White Sox from the Knights. The Knights have now promoted a player to Chicago for six straight days (April 24-29).
