TEAM NOTES
Today's paid attendance of 18,574 represented the third sellout of the 2019 regular season and the 48th overall for the Union at Talen Energy Stadium ... three sellouts is the most in a single season for the club since 2016, when the Union had four capacity crowds.
Marco Fabian scored at 4' for the fastest goal scored by a Union player this season... it was his third career MLS goal in his seventh game played and his first goal since March 30 at Cincinnati.
By extending his goal-scoring streak to four games, Kacper Przybylko becomes the third player in Union history to register a scoring streak of at least that length ... Jack McInerney was the first to achieve the feat, from 9/29/12 at CLB through 10/20/12 at Houston ... CJ Sapong then did it from 6/3/15 vs. CLB through 6/24/15 vs. SEA... he now has five goals in his last three games played...he is sixth in the league in goals scored.
Anthony Fontana logged his first helper of the season.
Matt Real tallied his first assist of the season in his first game played of the year.
With 36 points after 21 games, and a 10-5-6 record, the Union continues their best start in club history ... the 2011 version of the squad had 32 points after 21 matches (8-5-8).
The Union return to action on Saturday, July 13 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City (10:00 p.m. ET / PHL17).
