K-Wings Unveil Schedule Revisions

Kalamazoo, MI.- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce revisions to the remainder of the 2003-2004 schedule.
K-Wings fans planning to attend home games, won't notice too much of a difference from the original K-Wings schedule. The biggest change regarding home games involves the K-Wings game on Saturday March 13th, 2004 against the Missouri River Otters. That game has been moved to Sunday, April 11th, 2004, at 4 PM and instead of the River Otters the K-Wings will now host the Adirondack IceHawks. Fans that already have tickets for the March 13th game can use them on the April 11th game against the IceHawks.
A majority of the scheduling changes for the K-Wings involve road games, including the postponement of contests on both Saturday February 21st and Sunday March 7th originally scheduled against the Columbus Stars.
To replace those games, the UHL has scheduled games against two Western Division rivals the Fort Wayne Komets and the Quad City Mallards. The K-Wings will travel to Fort Wayne on Sunday, February 29th for a 5:05 PM face-off time. Kalamazoo will head to Quad City for a 5PM on Sunday March 14th to face-off against the Mallards.
The revised schedule includes:
- Sunday, February 15th: Flint at K-Wings, 4 PM (originally scheduled against Columbus)
- Saturday, February 21st: No Game
- Sunday, February 29th: K-Wings at Fort Wayne, 5:05 PM (Replaces Game on February 21st)
- Friday, March 5th: Missouri at K-Wings, 7:35 PM (originally scheduled against Columbus)
- Sunday, March 7th: No Game
- Saturday, March 13th: No Game (Game moved to April 11th)
- Sunday, March 14th: K-Wings at Quad City, 5 PM (CST). (Replaces Game on March 7th)
- Wednesday, April 7th: Rockford at K-Wings, 7 PM (originally scheduled against Columbus)
- Friday April 9th: Adirondack at K-Wings, 7:35 PM (originally scheduled against Quad City)
- Sunday, April 11th: Adirondack at K-Wings, 4 PM (Replaces Game on March 13th)
Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Box Office during regular business hours of 10AM-6PM Monday-Friday or 10AM-2PM on Saturday's. Fans can also order tickets over the phone by calling (269) 345-5101.
